MAD for Europe is extremely glad to take part in this KA2 project for helping seniors artisan and facilitate their participation at European level.
In fact, after the KOM meeting of February, we organised on 07th March an internal meeting with our staff members, volunteers and 2 artisan from Madrid.
The meeting took place in our Cultural Department of Calle Carranza 25, 10 participants were present together with the 2 Project Committee members (Katia Maccarone and Gregorio García-Solans). Firs of all we started with a detailed project presentation with all activities foreseen and that will take place in the upcoming months.
All participants demonstrated great interest in this initiative, in fact many new ideas have arisen either for the implementation of ArITsan in Spain, either for the follow-up of activities with seniors artisan in order to spread their works and, at the same time, support them in this process.
We organised all together the following project deliverables, in order to start the IO1 research and provide the best materials for this project result.
The meeting ended with a visit to an exhibition of the Escuela de Arte 3, one of the most important in Madrid specialised in the creation of handmade jewels where we met the Director and also presented this project to their adult trainers. We will cooperate together in the next activities.
