  • ”Antreprenoriat High Tech pentru mestesugari” – last multiplier event of the project – Romania

In Romania we organised 3 multiplier events, in 3 different localities, 2 of them kept the agenda mentioned in the application form.
One of them took place in Ramnicu Valcea on 28th July being a part of the cultural events organised by local authorities and institutions with the occasion of ”National Anthem’s Day” gathering 26 Romanian and 14 foreign participants (from Czech Republic, Greece, Italy, Republic of Moldavia, Spain, Turkey, Ukraine and UK,) the second took part on 31st July in Alba Iulia (because we developed here a local non formal educational activity for senior artisans and more dissemination events) and gathered 24 Romanian participants.

  • National seminar ”Zaawansowana technologicznie przedsiębiorczość dla artisani”

On 27th July we developed the second multiplier event in Poland, called  ”Zaawansowana technologicznie przedsiębiorczość dla artisani”

We had to split the multiplier event in two days, because it wasn’t possible for us to gather 30 participants in one day so they decide to have two events with the same agenda.

Both of them took part in Wroclaw, Wrocławskie Centrum Wspierania Organizacji Pozarządowych Sektor3

We paid a particular attention to the selection of participants in order to obtain a “snowball effect” – each participant to the event (both on 12 and 26 uly) was able to share the information to at least 5 other persons. So they had a proper mixture of representatives from public and private structures public and private structures interested in the topic of the project or connected topics as crafts sector development, small business, culture and traditions etc.

You may find here more details about both events

  • National seminar “Intraprenditorija ta ‘teknoloġija għolja għall-artisani”

The multiplier event in Malta took place on 19th July, in St. Julian.

The meeting began with a welcome from the organizer, followed by introductions from the participants. The organizer then gave a brief overview of the Erasmus project, which aimed to explore the ways in which technology can be used to support and promote traditional crafts.

The project team then presented the results of their research, which included a survey of artisans, a series of workshops, and the development of a new online platform for artisans to showcase their work and connect with potential customers.

The survey found that seniors artisans are generally interested in using technology to promote their work, but they face a number of challenges, such as the lack of time, skills, and resources. The workshops provided artisans with the training and support they need to use technology more effectively.

The new online platform, which is still under development, will provide seniors artisans with a free and easyto- use platform to showcase their work and connect with potential customers.

  • Third transnational meeting in attendance – Porto/Gondomar – Portugal

The fourth transnational meeting ( third in attendance) took place in Porto and Gondomar – Portugal, hosted by Portuguese partner Associação Social Recreativa e Cultural Bem Fazer Vai Avante. We started in Porto in a meeting room offered by Casa das Associações – FAJDP and we continued after lunch in the headquarter of ASRCBFVA (Rua Manuel Alves Vieira, nb 19, Gondomar)
There were 7 participants from all 7 partner organisations in attendance.
    Aims:

    • preparing the second interim report
    • analyse the feedback of participants to the local ToTs and how to improve the IO2
    • familiarise with the local context Portuguese partner is working in

The meeting started with a welcome speech from mr Fernando Duarte, Executive Director of Associação Social Recreativa e Cultural Bem Fazer Vai Avante. He presented us some activities of the organisation, especially those dedicated to seniors.
Then the coordinator (representative of Pro Xpert) lead the discussions about reviewing the evidence of administrative documents (travel documents, timesheets, contracts etc.) needed for the second interim report. We checked what documents are already uploaded on the google drive (here: https://drive.google.com/drive/u/1/folders/1e4__emxU7a3gQNfCgeZgQeoF3TxgvTRZ) and ask partners to complete this task (as no one hasn’t all the documents updated) We also reviewed the financial rules and the bilateral agreements signed with each partner.
After the coffee break each participant had an about 10 minutes presentation related to the local ToT-s and how to improve the IO2. We also discussed a few elements related to IO, the platform, as all participants to the TPM had some consultations with their participants to C2 and C3 the day before.
In the second part of the day we visited one of the places managed by our Portuguese partner: ”The Social Centre” – a place fur supporting seniors by organising different social, recreational and cultural activities for them (like dance classes, music band, chess club etc). Some of the members of this centre will take part in the local piloting activities for senior artisans.
In the evening we have a common dinner with participants to C2 and C3.
